My Journey with Wood

I’m Raphael, a Brazilian carpenter and furniture artist based in Ericeira. I started working with wood in Brazil, continued in Maui, and now call Portugal home.

From small cutting boards to restaurant fit-outs and camper van builds, I craft each piece with care and simplicity.

Through Oficina Vida Boa, I create custom wood pieces that carry meaning — for homes, cafés, vans, and anyone who values soulful design. I believe that good craftsmanship isn’t rushed, and beauty lives in the details.

This is slow furniture, for a fast world.
